Thursday Plantation is committed to sharing some of its profit with worthwhile organisations which improve the quality of life for all of us. We have focused our support on environmental projects, community arts programs, and smaller local charities which we know are making an important difference in peoples lives without the massive popular support.

THURSDAY PLANTATION EAST COAST SCULPTURE SHOW
The Thursday Plantation East Coast Sculpture Show each year presents a fascinating exhibition of about 80 contemporary works. They join a growing permanent collection of award-winning sculptures by Australian artists from all over the East Coast of Australia, particularly show-casing the art of talented people from the Northern Rivers region.

RAINFOREST RESCUE
Rainforest Rescue is a not for profit organisation committed to saving our rainforests for current and future generations. Rainforests contain Australia's greatest diversity of plants and animals. Nationally, over 75% of Australia's rainforests have been cleared and the remnants need your help to survive against the impact of fragmentation, weeds, fire and other threats.

WOODFORD FOLK FESTIVAL
Australia's leading folk festival sets a unique standard in the world for a comprehensive cultural experience which embraces not only a vast array of superb music, but includes aboriginal culture, political discussions, comedy, religion, fine art creations, environmental development, philosophical discourse and fabulous theatre and ritual. THANKS DAD PHOTOS
Enter our 2005 National Photo Competition. $1500 prizes! Thank dads and all men who have positive times with our children by entering their photo in the sixth annual Thanks Dad National Photo Competition.  $100 cash prizes in each category donated by TP Health, Fletchers Fotoraphics and Toucan Display Systems. Entries close 25th August each year.
