Contra
Tea Tree Oil is a strong concentrate known as an essential oil. If using Tea Tree Oil for the first time, do a small patch test on the inside of the arm to test for possible side effects. As with all therapeutic products there is a chance that a person may have an allergic response to tea tree oil. Normal precautions should be taken which include noting if any redness or skin irritation develops or persists. In such a case discontinuing use will allow the skin to revert to normal. Whilst tea tree oil can be used on mouth ulcers, or as a gargle, it is not for internal consumption.
